It felt a bit anti-climax now that I am back to the UK. No more french class, no more exploration to the museums. No more reading of the french free newspaper everyday.
at first i thought the coffee is paris is too bitter.. however, within two weeks, I learnt to enjoy the bitter expresso with a very refine piece of chocolate.
the price-regulated bagaette and bread rolls are a real treat. The fragent taste reminds me of the bread I have in Tokyo....
back to London, the coffee doesn't taste like coffee, the bread doesn't taste like bread. The sweets are just full of sugar but with no delicate favour..
two weeks in paris have trained me to have better and more sensitive taste buds... oh no what can I do?
I have John's happy smily face to look at everyday!
